What Lesson Planner is
Honeybee Logic Lesson Planner is a teacher-led AI planning tool for K–12 educators, a planning partner, not a document generator. It doesn't hand you a finished export and walk away: it builds your idea out into a complete lesson package, then keeps working with you as you push back, rewrite and refine. It's built for classroom teachers, and for the school and division leaders who decide which tools teachers can rely on.
The problem it solves
Planning a good lesson means working backwards from curriculum outcomes, adapting to a specific class, and writing it all down, usually in evenings and prep periods. Generic AI tools plan for a generic average student and guess at the curriculum, so teachers spend their time correcting drafts instead of teaching. Lesson Planner is grounded in real provincial curricula and pedagogical approaches, and plans around the students actually in your room.

Curriculum and local configuration
Whether a lesson starts from a teacher's idea or from selected outcomes, drafting is grounded in real provincial curricula, so plans land inside the standards teachers are accountable to. For school authorities, Lesson Planner is also configured per authority as part of implementation, so local expectations are set up with the people who know them, not assumed by the software.

Privacy and data
Lesson Planner is for adult educators at Canadian customers, not student accounts. Use curriculum outcomes and general, non-identifying learning needs. Inputs must be non-personal and non-confidential: do not submit student names, identifiable learner profiles or records, private information, credentials, sensitive personal information, or confidential third-party material. Removing a name alone does not make a learner non-identifiable. Necessary adult account, billing, and support information uses designated channels, not AI inputs. Our Privacy Policy and your applicable accepted agreement govern data handling.

Does it follow my curriculum?
Yes. Lesson Planner is grounded in real provincial curricula, so the plan is built inside the standards you are accountable to, not a chatbot guessing at what Grade 4 means. You verify the fit; the review step exists exactly for that.
Does it work in French?
Yes. Lesson Planner is bilingual by design, with full English and French generation, including francisation contexts.
Can I edit what it produces?
Yes. Everything Lesson Planner drafts is editable, and the review-and-edit step is part of the normal workflow, not an optional extra.
Does the AI replace my planning judgment?
